Emily is out of surgery and doing great.  We decided it was best for us to stay the night in the hospital with the professionals to make sure her pain was in check before going home to the rookie nurse.  We will likely be discharged tomorrow around lunch time. 

God aligned everything perfectly and she was able to get both the mastectomies and the reconstruction completed today!!🙌🙌

She is eating, drinking, walking, and smiling.  She’s already eaten a kids meal from Chick-Fil-A, and even played with the toy!

She is in some pain and her arm movement will be restricted for a while during the healing process, but we thank God that all went well and we are on the other side of surgery and on the road to recovery. 

A big shout out to all those who have been helping with the kids this week.  You have turned this difficult time into a blessing to them and to us.  

Thank you all for the prayers.  Keep them coming!!  Specifically for healing and comfort over the next few days/weeks.  God is hearing each prayer and acting on each one.
