Emily ’s Story

Site created on November 16, 2022

Nov. 1, 2022 I had a cyst removed. They took the whole ovary because the cyst was so big. They also removed a polyp from my uterus.

Nov. 7, 2022 my doctor called to tell me it was cancer.

Nov. 10, 2022 my CT scan revealed its stage 4 endometrial (uterine) cancer. It has spread to “innumerable” nodules in my lungs, and my lymph nodes near my lungs. There were other concerning observations in the CT summary I dont fully understand. Unknown Fluid in my pelvis. Dilated kidney/ureter etc.

Nov. 11, 2022 pain in my lower right abdomen and my lower right back is unbearable. Suspect it’s the ureter tube that was pinched from the tumor and my kidney isn’t releasing to my bladder

Nov. 15, 2022 surgery to install stent between kidney and bladder. Surgery to install chemo port near my collar bone.

Nov 21, 2022 first chemo infusion. 8 hours of chemo.

Dec 11, 2022 second chemo. 8 hours. Started CBD and nutritional things about 2 weeks prior.
