The one week post-surgery checkup in Duluth went well! Things are healing about as well as they can be. There is still quite a bit of asymmetry between the radiated and non radiated sides, but that is expected and there isn’t much that can be done.

I still need to take it easy (e.g., no lifting over 10 lbs) and avoid immersing myself in water (so no swimming) for a few weeks, but I no longer need to do daily dressings on the incisions.

My appt was at 9:30am, so Mom and I got to spend the day enjoying and running errands in Duluth. And it was a beautiful, cool day! We walked around Canal Park and timed it perfectly to see the lift bridge go up twice!
