Journal entry by Sarah Terry —
One year ago yesterday I took my second helicopter ride to AR Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. Ellis was 4.5 months old and he had a GI bleed and labored breathing. We didn’t know it yet, but his little body was telling us he was tired. Josh and I didn’t know that this would be our last 2 days with our precious baby. Looking back, I’m glad I didn’t know. We would not have done anything differently, and we could not have possibly loved him any more… Even in the heartache I’m thankful for the 144 days we had with Ellis, and I wouldn’t change the time we had for a minute. We continue to talk about Ellis every day, and I think of him constantly. We love you Elly Belly and we look forward to the day we get to see you again in heaven sweet boy. 🤍
Please join our family for some precious moments of celebration in memory of the beautiful life of Ellis Ryan Terry, who gained his angel wings September 30, 2021.
We will meet Thursday, September 29 @ 6:45pm @ First Baptist Rogers
We will have a brief gathering and a few words and release some balloons into the air ar sunset around 7:05pm. Wear your Tiny but Mighty t shirts if you have them.
Thank you all for loving us and being there to comfort us during this time!! ❤️🩹💙🦋
