Ellie’s Story

Site created on April 7, 2022

Our great friends, Rachel and Zach, have one brave little girl. Born with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, Ellie’s been a fighter since day one. On March 29th, Ellie had a tumor removed that was later discovered to be a Wilms tumor, which is a type of childhood cancer that starts in the kidneys. Ellie will have to travel to Chicago once a week to receive treatment. On top of that, the Krepfle’s are welcoming a new baby girl in April. This little family will have a lot going on the next 6 or so months, so we are here to help in any way.

If you would like to give a donation toward gas, food, medical expenses, or other daily expenses, there is a Venmo set up for Ellie that links directly to the Krepfle's. Please use "gift" as the tag line. (Venmo: @Super-Ellie). If you would like to contribute a meal for the family, there is a MealTrain set up under the "Ways to Help" tab. You can also sign up to give a restaurant gift card!

T-Shirts will be coming soon to show our support for this sweet girl! Stay tuned.
