Sign In to Show Your SupportJust wanted to share a quick update! I started my last round of chemo this week and looking forward to that last injection on Friday! I have had days I felt wiped out tired and days I felt great. I did get mouth sores after the first round, but they healed quickly. My white blood cell count was low last week but is back up now. No sickness. No hair loss. So thankful it hasn’t been too bad!
A lot of people have asked “what’s next?”. After finishing treatment this week, I will continue to have weekly HCG checks through the end of May. To be considered cancer free, HCG will need to stay negative for 3 weeks after stopping treatment. I will also have another PET scan in July to make sure we didn’t miss anything.
I can see the finish line and it feels GOOD!
