Today is one for the record books. After 6 months of hell, I met with my hematologist/oncologist today to review my end-of-treatment CT scan results and learned that there is no sign of enlarged lymph nodes anywhere! With luck and prayers, I am IN REMISSION from lymphoma!!! And the healing can get underway for good once and for all! Also, the blood clot (aka pulmonary embolism) is breaking up nicely and my spleen is returning to normal size! Needless to say, I am feeling very happy and optimistic and grateful, though I still say chemo sucks and I don't wish it on anyone!!! Another round of applause for my peanut gallery 👏 (you all know who you are!) and the doc told me today I can have a adult drink to celebrate (though I'm waiting until my birthday on 3/14!!!) Onward to Spring and the Nuggets' St. Patricks Day party and New Orleans the first week in May!I might even go swimming tomorrow or the next day! ) So much to look forward to. Love to you all forever!!! ~ Ellen aka "Elbow"
