As of this morning, mom quietly and peacefully passed on. She was on Hospice only a few days and even in her very end, struggled to make everyone around her comfortable. She denied pain and discomfort but we also know she was really good at minimizing her feelings to not be a bother. We were able to help her get comfortable and she was finally able to rest.  In the early morning hours she was able to drift off to sleep and was very much at peace. We are sad that its come so soon, we hoped that we'd have her for years to come. Now we plan.  

Next Monday we will hold a Celebration of Life and reception here in Lincoln.  Then on Wednesday (1 day before her Birthday) we will host another reception in North Platte. We will have more details posted once they have been finalized.
