Ella had her cleft palate surgery last Monday, she spent 2 nights in the hospital and came home.  She is recovering nicely and went right back to playing with her toys like normal.  She is on some restrictions now for eating and can’t suck her thumb, she gets to wear things on her arms that don’t let her elbows bend so she can’t get her fingers to her mouth.  She will have these restrictions for 3 weeks.  Ella has learned to give kisses, she will lean right in our face and plant one.  Overall, she is doing well.
