Journal entry by Elizabeth Stokes —
My chest CT scan was Tuesday this week at UNC. My Envita doctor wanted to monitor a lymph node by my sternum that was of possible concern from my May PET/CT scan. The radiologist report came back saying that the lymph node is stable or better. My UNC oncologist said that was great news, and I am trusting that my Envita doctor will think the same. I should have an appointment with him next week or the following one. Thankful to have that completed!
On Wednesday, I had blood drawn for a repeat lab checking my thyroid. It had been normal until mid-May. Then it started becoming hyper. I am taking some things that the doctor recommended to try to help it calm down. I feel better, but I was disappointed to see that my labs still say it is hyper. Praying that something will work to help it normalize.
