Journal entry by Emily Nicholls

We are now 6 weeks post op and Eli is feeling so much better! He is not as tired and hasn’t had the dizziness and nausea he used to get. He is sleeping better and his  headaches in the  back of his head are gone!! He still has frontal headaches but Dr Grant is not worried because of the location and said those usually go away! Eli had another MRI and Grant said it was poor quality but that it looks like the fluid at the top of Eli’s head is gone! The collection in his incision area is smaller as well. Eli will be sedated for his more detailed MRI end of may/early June. Dr Grant said that Eli can run around and go to playgrounds now. Eli asked if he could do somersaults and that scared Dr Grant! I assured him we have NOT been doing somersaults. After Eli’s appointment , he ran out of the room to tell his brothers & dad “No somersaults, yes playgrounds!”
Thank you for all the prayers for our Eli ❤️  We are feeling so relieved and thankful!!!
