...Not "good" in the sense that Good Friday is good, but in the sense that I'M CANCER FREE!
The results of my third lumpectomy were benign, and so for the time being I will celebrate.
Deep gratitude to all y'all out there -- generous friends, beloved family and treasured colleagues -- for sustaining me through this.
Now I leave this site dormant for what I hope and pray will be a long, long, looooong time.

P.s. i heard the news on Wednesday, and details of how I've quite happily sinned since then:
-- 1 piece of pecan pie
-- 1 ginormous chocolate-cinnamon rugelach
-- 2 regular-sized Reese's peanut butter cups
-- 3 Krispy Kreme donuts
--1 dark chocolate souffle with vanilla cream, at a French restaurant straight out of the oven
