"NO SIGN OF CANCER ANYWHERE!!"

Praise Jesus! I can not even tell you how good those words feel. I almost don't want to announce it because I am afraid they are going to come back and say they made a mistake (that has kinda been our experience in the beginning of this).

But It IS REAL!!  A PERFECT PET SCAN!!

Hallelujah, praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow. And let me just tell you, I can honestly say that there are blessings in the good and bad.

"So what does this mean?"

Those were my exact words. Words I have learned to ask. Never assume.

The Dr. told us that it means he has no sign of cancer. (ok, that is what I thought😂)
But what now?...Do we continue the last two treatments? Will there be another scan down the road just to make sure it hasn't come back?!

Answers:
Yes. We will continue the last two treatments.
Yes. We will eventually do another scan. She will continue to follow up with him and make sure everything is looking good.

Can I just be honest for a bit?!? Right now I want to just pour a glass of wine and put my feet up and breath deep. But I feel that would be inappropriate as I sit here with Eli during his round of Chemo at Vanderbilt.

Not to mention, we are not immune to this world and it's hurts and pains. Embrace the moment. But be on guard!

This too, I have learned!

Craig was unable to be here with us today because he is on a medical missions trip. I texted him the news. His response..."Praise, thank you Jesus. Just got out of surgery and saw this. Can't see to text. Too many tears in my eyes."

Sweet Craig!

Eli is Eli...Laid back and acting as if the cancer was not big deal so the news of not having it was no big deal either.  That boy!!

Thank you all for being such sweet prayer warriors.

Continue to pray that the cancer STAYS AWAY!!! FOREVER!!
And pray that the treatments hasn't caused any problems for his kidney.
