Journal entry by Cheryl Grigsby —
It’s been 2 years today since dad has passed. What a huge void and loss for so many of us. I love and miss him so much.
I want to try to honor his legacy in some way each year if possible.
Dad had participated in an Alzheimer research study, (A4 Study) for years at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Besides himself, like most people, knew family and friends who had it and he wanted to help with hopefully finding a cure. His brain was donated for further research and makes me love my dad even more for his caring to help with this horrible disease.
I’d love to have anyone who wants to join my team to walk with me on October 1st in Andover, MA and help fundraise or, please consider donating money, even if it’s a $1.00. The Team is in his name to honor his legacy to help with Alzheimer’s research.
You can do the link below to my Team’s page. You can join my team through this link or make a donation to my team in his name.
Patients and caregivers love hearing from you; add a comment to show your support.
