Thank you all for your outreach to our family after the passing of our sister Edie last month. We are planning a memorial to celebrate her life and the happy memories she gave us. The memorial is tentatively set for May 13th from 10:00am to 12pm at Horton Iris Farm in Loomis (directions and further details to follow later). We believe Covid-protection guidelines in May will allow for this celebration and be at a point where people do feel comfortable gathering. We will follow whatever protocols are necessary at that time to allow us to do so. For the safety of everyone, our celebration is outdoors with plenty of room to social distance. It's a special spot that we feel honors Edie and those who were so kind to her throughout her life. Some of you have shared stories with us of Edie's impact on your lives and we look forward to smiling over those memories together.
For planning purposes and some specific site constraints, we ask that you please let us know if you plan on attending. If you can private message me with your email address, I can create a master list for more specifics and future updates. Dress is casual to allow for everyone's comfort and ability to enjoy the flower farm experience. More information/updates will follow as we get closer to her celebration.
