Eden Christine’s Story

Site created on March 31, 2024

On March 28, Eden Christine was born with a relatively smooth labor and delivery. We were all overjoyed with how beautiful and perfect she was. A few hours later there were a couple of episodes when Eden would stop breathing. The next morning around 5am she had another few episodes and that’s when they moved her to the NICU. After further episodes and a CT scan they found that Eden had a brain bleed and she was flown to Oklahoma Children’s hospital where she has been taken care of since.

Praise God! Eden graduated from the NICU, and came home yesterday! We are so thankful for all of the prayers and support from everyone.

Eden is doing great as we adjust to our new routine at home with her adoring big brother. We will still have follow up appointments to continue checking how her bleed is healing and to make sure the cerebrospinal fluid is still able to drain properly and to adjust her anti-seizure medications as needed.

Eden has a long healing process ahead but we know God is just getting started with her story! We ask for continued prayers for her healing journey and we will continue to provide updates as they come!
