Hello Friends!
This is my last message on Caring Bridge. I have so appreciated your comments and encouragement along the way! I am finishing up appointments with Mayo early this week. Debbie and I have been blessed to have this condo rental near Mayo for the last couple of months but we are really looking forward to getting back to our home in Corona Del Mar and catch up with so many of you! I mentioned I am on a feeding tube for 98% of my nutrition (this week discovered I can eat tapioca pudding!), but the goal is to slowly ween off to tube and eat more by mouth. Unfortunately, food tastes terrible to me. And what makes it tougher, is that Debbie is a fantastic cook! Torture! But, I am told my taste will come back over the year... just need patience!
