Lisa and I are back home after a week of our latest follow-up scans and appointments at the Mayo Clinic. We’re so grateful to report that I’m still cancer free as we approach 17 months post-surgery! Multiple appointments centered on my continued bladder and bowel issues, which are still areas impacted from the tumor removal. It’s been a sprint this past semester, which was both my first at Illinois State and Lisa’s at the University of Illinois, but we’re both looking forward to getting back into routines.
