💙 9 Months 💙

Easton update:

Over the last 3 months Easton has continued to see his nephrologist and neurologist, as well as weekly appointments with PT, OT, and DT. 

He’s had another EEG, and although he’s never had a seizure, he continues to have abnormal brain activity so he still takes Keppra. We are praying that the medicine will prevent any seizures and give his brain and opportunity to recover. 

Easton is still being monitored for high blood pressure due to his kidney failure at birth and that hasn’t resolved itself yet, but we expect it to. His nephrologist recommended a heart echo to ensure the heart doesn’t have any damage from high blood pressure and we are happy to report his heart looks great! 

From a developmental perspective he’s right on track - sitting, rolling, talking. We are still working on improving those skills with therapy but are very confident in his ability! 

Easton is super happy and smiles all the time - especially at his mommy, daddy, and brother. He has the prettiest blue eyes and two adorable teeth. 

We are reminded all the time of the miracle we have witnessed and are so thankful to know and love Easton. He’s the best!
