Journal entry by Amanda Henley —
Wow I can't believe it's been so long since I have updated the sight. In a way that is definitely a good thing as nothing major has changed. Dylann had to go to the hospital today for 2 units of blood. Her ANC, which is her immune system, is very low so they are putting her on a Chemo hold. She has already been taken off of all steroids because of the severe damage it has caused her. She has the AVN in her shoulders that will need attention when her treatment next year is over. She is currently having issues with her knees and hips. They have not done an MRI on this basically because there's nothing they can do about it at this point anyway. While this isn't great news, we are still counting our blessing that she is still here with us fighting every step of the way. She is in Nursing school at MU and living on her own in Columbia. Dylann tries to do her best not to miss out on too much a young College student should be enjoying at this stage of their life. Unfortunately, she has been dealt some crappy cards but just like everything else she has been faced with in her young life she takes it in stride and is so resilient. She makes us all proud every single day. Please keep up the prayers and well wishes we do need them on a regular! Thank you to everyone for your continued support!
