Good Monday Morning.  A quick update with some wonderful news!! Dylan has officially been cleared and shows ✨NO EVIDENCE of DISEASE ✨ We were able to get an MRI late Friday afternoon, we were told that the radiologist would glance at it and we would receive a call if it was worrisome. We waited anxiously Friday night for a call that never came. Saturday we put our worry aside and decided to enjoy the weekend. Dylan rode bikes with his friends, went to a kings game with friends and family, and enjoyed a movie with me yesterday. This morning at 8:06 am the call from our clinical nurse specialist came that the spot on his kidney was “fat” and not cancerous or infection! Dylan was right next to Angela for the call and heard the words that he is cancer free and there is in fact “no evidence of disease” we are beyond grateful for this miracle that god has given our family and want to spend the day letting this news truly sink in. A referral has been put in for Dylan to get his port removed and if the week goes as planned he will return to school on Thursday or Friday of this week. He will have a PET scan every 3 months for the first year and then we will reassess.

We can't thank everyone enough for your continued support and prayers.  We are all looking forward to our lives finding a new normal again and each day filled with hope and happiness.  We have witnessed ultimate strength and perseverance in our son during this difficult time and can't wait to see the impact he will make on this world!
