Hello everyone, sorry I haven’t updated recently but there weren’t a lot of changes until today……Dustin had a very busy day yesterday with a heart biopsy, to check the tissues for rejection; everything thus far looks good! Then physical therapy came in and got him set up on the side of the bed with assistance and he was able to stand briefly. He didn’t have much strength so it was a quick task…..He also had his dialysis which was 2 1/2 hrs. (His kidneys haven’t woke up yet)

Today he was lifting his head on his own and pulling himself forward into a sitting position!! He is gaining some of his strength back a little at a time but gets frustrated when he tries to do something and he can’t, which is expected…..

He is so very determined to get up and walk which is a good thing but his body just isn’t strong enough yet…..but I bet it isn’t going to be to long before he can!
