Newest Update

Journal entry by Michelle Calhoun

Hello! This is Duane.  Sorry it’s been awhile since I last posted. So much has happened since our last update. Again, I want to thank everyone who sent food or gift cards and especially for all the prayers.   They WORKED.  My last CT and PET scan showed that the tumor wasn’t VISABLE on the scan and no spots on my liver.  Doc said the results were the best we could have asked for.  I want to thank God for healing and seeing us through this very difficult time. Also I’m going back to work around August 10th. Eastman has been able to work with me and I can return to my crew after my last chemo treatment. I have two treatments left.  I’m so thankful to be able to go back and see my work buddies and have some type of normal life.  After my last chemo in August they mentioned  I will have to continue treatment once a month (for life) but it won’t be as aggressive as the treatment I’ve had.   I hope to schedule those treatments after work on Friday’s and then have the weekend to rest.
