Douglas F. Miller, age 55 of Lakewood, Ohio passed away May 9, 2018 at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born January 31, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois.  Mr. Miller resided in many cities, but most notably Chicago, Alaska and the Cleveland area.
He will be remembered as a loving husband and an amazing father.  Having been born and raised in Chicago, he was a diehard Cubs fan.  Doug was a Professional Actor and a member of the Actors Equity Association and a long-standing member of the Great Lakes Theater, Idaho Shakespeare Festival and the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.  
Doug is survived by his wife Jessica (Cope) whom he married September 3, 2010 at St. James Episcopal Church in Painesville; his daughter Marlowe; parents Burton Miller, DDS and Jean (Homann) Miller; brothers Burt (Victoria) and Brad and nephew Gareth Olds and nieces Amelia Atwood and Abby Miller.  
A memorial service will be held at 6:30pm Friday, May 18th at St. James Episcopal Church, 131 N. State St., Painesville, Ohio with Rev. E.B. Vanessa Clark officiating. Mr. Miller’s final resting place will be within the Columbarium of St. James Episcopal Church. 
In lieu of flowers, further memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice be it a cancer research organization, The Actor’s Fund or the Miller family’s Go Fund Me page in which a portion of the funds will be donated in Doug’s memory.
