We are coming up to three weeks since Dorothy moved to the Gardens at St. Gertrude’s ( assisted living). Her apartment looks out onto the outdoor garden, which is still snow covered but in a couple of months will be filled with wonderful flowers and blooming trees. Her routine still includes therapy four times a week plus she is busy attending daily exercise class, bingo, church and a variety of other activities.

The Gardens includes 3 meals a day, apartment cleaned once a week, trash picked up each day, various activities and of course the various health cares she may need. As many of you know her daughter, Yvonne works at St. Gertrude’s so she stops in 2 plus times a day and ensures all is well. Bruce and his family live close so they stop in a few times each week.  The candy drawer is fairly stocked depending on which grandkids have been there.
