Saturday afternoon update-
- I apologize that the updates have been lacking!
- I was in Florida for a week, and took a bit of a break, but we are back and better than ever!
- I get to see my dad tonight, and I look forward to the visit.
- Here is some recent data-
- For diet, eating, and swallowing he is independent.
- For grooming, he is independent.
- For bathing, he needs 25% assistance.
- For dressing (upper and lower body), he needs 25% assistance.
- For toileting, he needs 25% assistance.
- For transfers in the bathroom and stand-pivot transfers, he needs 25% assistance.
- For bed mobility, he needs 25% assistance.
- He walked 20 feet with a hemi cane walker with 50% assistance.
- He went 100 feet using a wheelchair and his right side with 25% assistance.
- For comprehension, he is stand-by.
- For expression, he is modified independent.
- For cognition, he is supervision for social interaction.
- He is stand-by for memory.
- He is stand-by for problem solving.
- We will know a discharge date this week.
- I believe he will likely have 3 more weeks there.

- These next few weeks are crucial in his recovery process, so we hope he continues to prove his strength!
