Don’s Story

Site created on August 30, 2019

Welcome to Don Offerdahl's Caring Bridge page. We are utilizing this site to make our family and friends aware of Don's current medical issues. We greatly appreciate all of your support and thank you all for your prayers.

On August 26th following many tests and months of uncomfortable days and nights we found out some answers. No good answers unfortunately. Don has been diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer with metastasis to the liver, spine, femur and ribs. This has caused two fractures, one in the pelvis and one in the rib cage. This has made the everyday normal routines very painful and difficult. Radiation therapy to help with pain will begin on Tuesday Sept. 3rd. Treatment on fighting the cancer will also begin as soon as possible.

At this time we again greatly appreciate all the support and welcome all prayers. As we get updates and news we will update this page.
