Please check this page for updates on Donna’s journey to healing.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  Click "Ways to Help" to check for updates on ways you can help, such as a meal train, help with errands, etc.  These will be updated as needs arise.  

Donna has spent the last year trying to figure out what was going on inside her body.  This last year has been the hardest, most defeating time in her life.  On 1/10/23, her son took her to the ER and this sparked the fire that would finally lead her to the answers and help she has so desperately been searching for.  After multiple exams and tests, Donna found out that she has Leiomyosarcoma (LMS), which is a rare type of cancer.  The LMS resulted in tumors growing on her spine and around her heart.  Donna endured 2 very intense surgeries on 1/24 to remove the tumor from her spine and on 1/26 to remove the tumor from around her heart.  She has an extremely long and painful road to recovery.  After a few weeks of recovering from these surgeries, the doctors will begin treatment of the LMS.  
Donna’s love for others has shown brightly throughout her life.  Her loyalty and love for her friends and family cannot be matched.  The love and care she has received back from each of you during this time has given her the strength to keep trying and to be strong.  Please continue to send her your love and support, in whatever form that may be.   She needs you now more than ever.

We lost my beautiful sister today, I just don't even have words yet. 💗🌸 She went into cardiac arrest around 9:00 p.m. and they were not able to revive her.  So many tears and broken hearts.  Please send love and light for her journey and always remember her smile.
