Newest Update

Journal entry by Jacqueline Nelson

Mom had scans on the 17th and chemo yesterday.  Thankfully the scans showed no new growth! They cancerous tumor itself is staying the same size and has produced scar tissue but it hasn't grown or spread, which is very good news indeed. So for now, we are proceeding with the same chemo regimen of every two weeks!
Today she is feeling really achey and rough but hopefully it is short lived.
She has had an eventful past week though!
On the 15th, she joined the family for dinner at Kobe's to celebrate Michael and Alaina's birthday (and Callie being born too! Lol). Nathan was on a work trip here in town so he and Bella were able to join us! The day before she also walked around Target to get some stuff she needed.
Yesterday after chemo, she also came upstairs for a bit to join us all for dinner and cake for Alaina's actual birthday. It was nice having Bella and Nathan in town and we were so happy mom felt good enough to join in on some family time!
Please pray the side effects are mild this week and that the chemo continues to keep everything at bay!
