“No news is GOOD news!” It’s been a miraculous 10 days of healing for Don at home and he is doing so much better! Last weekend his energy really recovered and we took a few trips to the park, shopped for a new grill, he DROVE his truck, grilled out with friends & family, and had a great holiday weekend. On Monday, our dear friend Marla Clendenin Upshaw arrived from FL and they’ve had a great time hanging out this week. 

Yesterday morning we received a call from Dr. Chen’s office at the James Center and they have decided to admit him on Friday for a 3-day inpatient chemo treatment (the last one was 5 days). Marla will be driving him up there on Fridays for labs and prep and treatment will likely start late afternoon and finish on Monday afternoon. We are so thankful he is in a much healthier condition and ready to get back in the “boxing ring” and fight this beast. 

Please join us in praying for the chemo to obliterate the cancer cells in his body and keep the healthy ones strong and for him to come home as soon as the last drop is administered.
