We are slowly making some progress and moving in the right direction. The Fire Marshall has been to Dons house to complete their investigation and it has been deemed as “unknown source/cause” Next steps are for itemization to occur. Dons insurance company will have these people at his house the later part of the week to complete this.
Tomorrow we will move him to his next temporary home which will be nice for him and Dalton to feel a little more settled especially with school around the corner.
This week I will be taking Dalton school shopping to also help get him ready for his upcoming year and hopefully help provide as much normalcy as possible.
Home Town Bank and Trust has now also established a fund account for Don to help rebuild their lives again. We are so grateful and beyond appreciative of everyone’s generosity that has been received.
I am also going to resend out the link for the meal train with hopes of it being utilized now that they will be in a more interim permanent housing. These meals would help Don tremendously in many ways.
Please feel free to sign up for a time that would work for you. The meals can be dropped off at Old School 101 during regular business hours and Ben will deliver these to him.
