It’s been 4 days since Don has passed . It’s so quiet here without him . But yet, such a release has occurred . Don is no longer suffering . He fought a long 4 year battle with this brutal monster . Pancreatic Cancer,
A disease that when diagnosed is almost an immediate death sentence . But not for Don. He fought every step of the way with courage and strength until his body became the BOSS. My children are no longer watching their father die. These last 2 months have been beyond difficult. We all needed relief . The relief of knowing that Don is in a better place watching over all of us that loved him.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out to us this week and thank you for loving my husband. Nothing made Don happier then being around the people he loved. We are humbled by your show of kindness and prayers during our grieving process. Thank you for being in our lives! As I stated in another post. Don is being cremated and will reside in our home until July 4, 2021. When we will celebrate his life on the one year anniversary of his death, on his favorite holiday!
So mark your calendars folks! And maybe by then The Covid will be gone and we can have a proper celebration for this man who touched so many peoples lives 💜
