Friends and Family,

Just when you think you will be okay, there is silence.  Just when you think you will be okay, you see his face, smell his scent, see his shirt, see his face within his children. The love I have for Dominic is infinite. My life will never be the same, nor will our children.  The man we have loved so much, taken away so young.  I am really not ready to let go. I wasn't yesterday either, but there was so much love surrounding our family that love over-powered loss.  Today I sit within a dark living room, with the faint sound of TV and my boys sitting quietly, thinking about him.  This wonderful man, husband, son, brother, father, friend, cousin, nephew, grandson, son-in-law, brother-in-law and more is now one with the stars, moon, heavens and our Creator.  It doesn't take my pain away, or my feelings of emptiness, but it provides me with relief and peace that he is no longer suffering.  He has some very hard shoes to fill, but he groomed my son Anthony to be just like him and I have no doubt as he continues to grow, he will just as great as his father continuing to prepare his brothers to be just like Daddy.  What a wonderful, selfless man we have all been blessed to know and to love.
