Journal entry by Dillon Dreher —
Dillon had a GREAT day on Tuesday, he is determined to get to the next step of his recovery and he was bound and determined he was going to walk around the burn unit. He managed to walk twice around the burn unit (about 400 ft). Dillon hopefully will be transferred to a long-term acute hospital in Johnstown, in the next week or two. He has surpassed all expectations that the Dr.'s and Nurses believed could be done in his state. Dillon is truly blessed by all the good thoughts and prayers.
Because he is still in the Burn Unit and there is only limited amount of time given to family to see him, it is still only immediate family allowed in the burn unit. We appreciate everyone's understanding as this is a time for Dillon to focus on rest and healing.
Thank you ALL for your good thoughts and prayers. We tell Dillon everyday how much he is loved by all his family and friends. Dillon has said he feels the love coming his way from everyone!!!
