Welcome to our mom’s CaringBridge site. We have created this to keep our friends and family updated. We appreciate your support, words of hope and love during this time when it matters the most. 

Our Mom (Diane Maeyaert) was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in January of 2017. Our mom has done everything possible to fight this cancer.  She has endured multiple infusions, treatments, surgeries, experimental drugs, and procedures that have given our family more time.    We have been blessed with supportive friends and family.  We are thankful for the talented doctors and health care professionals that have assisted.  

Currently, there is no more treatment for her.  She is now at home on Hospice. 

If you are planning on visiting or contacting our mom, you need to contact Steve before to make sure she is up for visitors.

We continue to welcome your prayers as we do our best to make our mom comfortable.

We want to thank everyone who showed their love at Diane’s celebration of life. We loved hearing stories and memories you all share with Diane. The floral arrangements were enjoyed by the family and we will be making a donation to Westbridge Church with all the generous gifts from everyone.
