Mom will be in the good hands of Karen McLean MD, PhD at the University of Michigan Hospital. Karen McLean is a well decorated gynecological oncologist. She has come up through the University of Michigan medical school and fellowship program, was appointed the 2017 Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg Emerging Scholar for her research on the tumor microenvironment in ovarian cancer. 

But perhaps her greatest credential, is that she comes fully endorsed by beloved family-friend, skilled cookie baker, and cancer survivor Marina!

Having completed her own bout against cancer under the guidance of Dr. McLean, Marina has given us all great insight into what to expect in regards to treatment, calmed a lot of nerves, and bolstered our collective moral. If McLean is Marina's pick, that's all we needed to hear.
