This is Sheryl-  Grandma had another appointment today.  She had been pretty weak from this last round of chemo the first week of this month.  One of her tumors (the one that was closest to her brain stem) had shrunk quite a bit, but the other two tumors had shown some grown from her last MRI so the doctor has decided to try a more aggressive chemo treatment.  The good part about this treatment is that she no longer has to be admitted to the hospital for a week but just 2 days then home for 4 weeks with appointments for infusions and spinal taps in between.  She has had some really good days too.  Valerie and I purchased a few fun wigs for her to try and she loves them.  This cancer has been a huge awful roller coaster for us all but we have managed to stick together as a family.  We are all staying positive as we move to the next phase of chemo.  Her appointment today went really well.  Her blood counts and kidneys are doing great. She was feeling good enough to do another spinal tap and have more chemo put into her spine.  She is showing no signs of infections which is the biggest things they worry about with this particular new kind of chemo.   She is feeling really good and positive about her appointment and feeling a lot better today too.  She will have another round of this aggressive chemo in a few weeks and then her chemo team will do another MRI to see how the tumors have reacted to this new treatment.  Be praying for her to have strength to be able to with stand this much more aggressive chemo. Be praying for us all to stay positive even when there are days we feel like falling apart.  We are so very blessed to be a family that trust God no matter what the outcome is with all of this is.  Be praying for my Dad as he is the best husband and is the true epitome of "in sickness and in health".  Be praying for my sweet little sister Valerie as she makes the trek back and forth to Montana from Texas at least once a month to help give our Dad a little break and to encourage us all.  I know how hard it is for her to be so far away while we deal with the 24/7 of it all.  Be praying for my awesome brother Todd for always being so positive and for safety with his travels back and forth from Kalispell.  Be praying for the Harding's and Curliss's as we see the ups and downs of this horrible cancer on a daily basis.  Be praying for really great results from this next MRI.  Be praying for the wisdom of her primary doctor Dr. Thomas and the rest of her incredible oncology team.  Thank you all for your love and support 😍  We will keep you posted.
