Diane’s Story

Site created on October 11, 2017

Diane has been diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioma - a tumor on her brain. As she starts down the road of fighting this we've started this site to keep you up to date. She is in dire need of prayers for healing and peace at this time. We appreciate everything you all have done for us.  Thank you for visiting.

Journal entry by Kevin Bolin

My beautiful wife of 34 years passed away today at around 5:15 today after her long battle against Glioblastoma (Brain cancer).  We are planning the funeral service for January 8th at 10 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran church in Eagle, with lunch following; then a private gathering at the cemetery in Albion for family members.  There is also a visitation the Friday before (January 7th) from 4-6pm for family and from 6-9 pm for the public at the Ropers Funeral home in Waverly (just off 148th street).  All memorials are to go to the Immanuel Lutheran church in Eagle.  This will likely be the last post I will make to the caring Bridge.  Anyone who wishes to get in touch with me can do so through email (Nebolin607@yahoo.com), unless you already have my cell.  I wish to thank all of those who helped take care of Diane in the time she had left with us here at the house.  I also wish to thank all of you whose prayers were greatly appreciated and I am sure added many productive days to her life as she got to see 2 granddaughters born and baptised and got to babysit Brooksie many times before Marie moved away to Pennsylvania in late July.  God Bless all of you in this celebration season of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's birth
