Journal entry by Pam Lanhart

Last night (Sunday) Clara & I (Diana) shaved our heads in anticipation of the hair loss that will come with the radiation! I won’t actually lose all my hair but this will make growing it back out easier.
I think Zoey is also going to shave hers tonight as well!
I also took my first Zofran & chemo pill and then this morning Mike & I headed up to the hospital for the first of many radiation treatments. The drive there and back was longer than the actual wait and treatment, even though this appointment was the longest of all of them.
They had to do some overlay scans and needed doctor approval to start but it was still less than 15 minutes. And it’ll be even faster moving forward!
Overall, the actual process was quick and easy.

I’m sure things will change a bit as we get further into treatment but I know that God is in control and I’m so glad He is!
