Derek has been very sick since the beginning of May and is on his 4th admission to 3 different hospitals. Yesterday, Derek was admitted to University Hospital, UCHealth Anschutz Medical Campus
in Denver Colorado.   After being evaluated by the Liver Transplant Team and numerous tests, i.e., MRI, CT, Ultrasound, the "team" will determined if Derek will need a transplant.  However, in his current condition Derek would not survive a transplant.  Derek has undergone dialysis with full kidney restoration and is being nutritionally supported via nasal feeding tube. He also has had a blood transfusion.  There will be more information to come.  Please keep Derek and his family in your heart and in your prayers.
