Dearest Family and Friends,
I'm starting this CaringBridge for Denver so that I can continue to update everyone regarding his progress as we navigate through this time in our lives. Thank you for your prayers and support for him and our family!

Dearest friends and family,
“The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1:21
For those of you who don’t know, Denver went home to Jesus on Monday morning. ♥️
Our hearts are conflicted…it is the strangest thing. To feel so much gratitude and joy and yet a sadness I’ve never known before. We feel broken, but are incredibly thankful that he has no more pain and is in the presence of Jesus…he has run the race, he has finished well. We praise God for his beautiful mercy.
We prayed that he would heal him on this earth, because we love him so much and wanted him at our side, BUT GOD…
In his loving mercy and kindness took him home.
Healed him. There is no greater thing than to be in the presence of God.
Praise God for his unfailing love, mercy, and kindness.
Praise God we have been given this opportunity to grow deeper in our faith and devotion to Him…to see His power and love more clearly than ever before.
Praise God for our families and friends who have walked beside us the last 10 months, lifting us in prayer and helping us in every way imaginable.
Praise God for giving us beautiful memories that we can hold close to our hearts forever.
Praise God that one day we will be in the presence of God and be reunited with him.
My pastor mentioned that when we are worshipping God, we are worshipping with Denver, because that is what he is doing. Every time we lift our hands to praise our mighty God and sing with our voices in praise, he is, too…it’s so incredibly beautiful. ♥️
Praise God that he is holding us even now, bringing healing to our hearts…carrying us through these next days, weeks, months…
Denver’s viewing/sharing is at Ladbury Funeral Service on Sunday, the 28th at 2:00. His celebration of life is at Hillside Baptist Church on Monday, the 29th, at 11:00.
We love you all…we can never truly thank you for your many kindnesses, but we praise God for you.
Ephesians 2:4-9
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the boundless riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Praise God for his faithfulness and love and for those 2 little words, “But God”…they will forever hold a deeper meaning for our family. ♥️
We love you all.
But God,
April, Faith, Roman, Kady, and Brantley, Chase, Gustav, Eden, Violet, and Asia
