The best treat of all happened today; our Dad was finally able to go home after being gone for the last 10 days since his heart attack. 7 days in the hospital and then at my house to keep him from being exposed to the terrible stomach flu my mom, sister and nephew had. It was a great day for everyone!

He arrived home to all his favorite things that my mom lovingly prepared; his favorite cookies, pea soup, homemade rolls, cinnamon bears, their sweet little dog and his favorite girl (our Mama).

He is still weak and pretty tired but is growing stronger little by little. I'm certain the best medicine of all is to be home and with his favorite wife of 50 years. 😍
