Journal entry by Dennie Pfrimmer —
Cheryl and I had a good winter in Florida. We spent time in siesta key and Key West. While in Florida, we were fortunate to visit friends from Florida, Michigan, New York, Missouri and South Dakota, including a high school friend that I hadn’t seen in over 30 years.
I needed to continue my chemotherapy while there. It was a five hour one-way trip from Key West to the cancer clinic. We decided to rent a convertible to make the trip to treatment through the Keys more fun.
For those not familiar with Key West, there are chickens running loose all over the island. There aren’t many rules in Key West, but giving drugs to the chickens is discouraged. 😂
I had my routine Cancer scans after returning to South Dakota. A couple changes in the cancer were noticed, but no adjustment in my treatment is needed at this time. The oncologist plans to watch these changes closely over the next few months.
The last couple years have been quite a journey for us. We’re very thankful for the support given to us from all of you.
