Welcome to Declan’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportQuick Update (UPDATED): Good news is that Declan has gotten a break from his daily (sometimes two types) of chemotherapy, just in time for Easter and Easter Week/Spring Break. He did have to go in on Tuesday (4/2) for immunoglobulin injections that dad and mom had to administer at two sites simultaneously, and will likely have to do weekly for the foreseeable future. Never fun to jab your child! Hoping this will bring up his neutrophil count that have been tanking these past weeks, with all the viruses. Platelet have rebounded well. He has appointments and a scheduled spinal tap, with two chemo drugs tomorrow, but we will see what his blood counts are in the morning. Prayers please. Thank you for donations and meals! As a treat, here is a pic of Declan with his big brother Becket, in their Easter outfits, put together by mom!
FOUND A SUPER-CUTE PIC OF THE SAME TWO KING BOYS FROM ALMOST SIX YEARS AGO. DECLAN DID HAVE THE SPINAL TAP (LUMBAR PUNCTURE), WITH TWO CHEMO INFUSIONS ON THURSDAY (4/4). ALL WENT WELL. STILL WITHHOLDING DAILY CHEMO. MORE BLOODWORK THIS WEEK. BONUS INFO... ***FUN STUFF (FROM A SICK-DAD-OF-A-SICK-BUT-AWESOME-KID):
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world!
