I am trying to replace my abusive and neglectful caregiver. I have friends helping me find someone new to hire.

The first attempt was hiring a community member who seemed amazing. But then she manipulated, gaslight, and blackmailed me.

That put me in a crisis of lack of care mixed with escalation of abuse from the old caregiver.

I have found someone who can help with insurance and admin stuff who started Friday.

I have someone who can help with the kids temporarily at the very least. They will start Monday.

But last night the internet went out and old caregiver (still in in-law unit) wouldn't fix it and I need to work on the computer to get the schedules for next week worked out.

I injured myself unsuccessfully trying to reset the modem. My pain is back to 10/10.

I'm going to need some help figuring out logistics for the next couple of weeks and potentially help getting the old caregiver out of the in-law unit so that maybe I can find a friend to stay there while I'm waiting for the new caregiver.
