An update from Mom-
One yr ago this month I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. One of the scariest time of my life. Today was the date I had surgery to remove that ugly part of me. There were lots of ups & downs on this life journey to get back to "normal". As a lot of you know, I became jobless & homeless at this time. Because of God, all of your thoughts, many prayers & your help in other ways, I have been able to come a very long way in this last year. My health is good and I finally got a job the end of Dec. working at Landsmeer Retirement Facility here in OC as the meds manager. Hopefully in the next weeks I will be more full time. I love what I do & my coworkers are amazing. Because of working here it is affiliated with the hospital. They have turned the old hospital into rentals for hospital employees. In Feb I was able to obtain one of the apartments there and was able to move out of Genesis House and be on my own. So thankful for this transition.
2 weeks ago I had an MRI recheck done. Results were great! This one looked better than the one at 6 months, which is to be expected as the void where the tumor was slowly disappears and the hematoma absorbs. PTL! I will be scheduled for a recheck in 1 yr.
I am living proof one of God's miracles & couldn't have made it this far without him.
With love in Christ - Deb💜
Thanks everyone for everything you've done for Mom this last year. We appreciate it so much and pray her health continues to improve physically, mentally and emotionally. - Makayla
