After a long 7 months in the cast, Mom made it to surgery yesterday. Surgery went well and as planned with no complications. She had a good night with manageable pain levels and has been up and walking this morning with Physical Therapy. We still have a long recovery road ahead, but she's made it over the next big hurdle.
