Welcome! Thank you for being here.

Deborah‘s grandson, Elian, was involved in a fire and was airlifted to JMS Burn Center, Augusta, Ga.

He had third-degree burns over more than 30% of his body. He’s had multiple surgeries and physical therapy. He’s undergoing continue treatment. and will be there for an unknown period of time.

Deborah has been by his side the whole time.

Journal entry by DeBorah Ogiste —

Elian went for his dressing change today. He will have to have more skin grafting. He will be here for two - three weeks more . He will start intense OT andPT the doctor asked that I remove myself so that they can be more effective so I will be leaving  tomorrow. He is not taking it well. Pulling at my heart strings.
