Mom has been doing so well the past week. Nephrology (kidney doctor) has signed off on her reporting that her kidney function is better than ever. She is looking and feeling so much better. She finally graduated from North Greenvile LTAC hospital and was transferred to Roger C. Peace at Greenville Memorial late Monday afternoon. She is in room 3908. They have also decreased her oxygen and she is only on 2 liters via nasal cannula.

She really misses North Greenvile and they were very good to her, but she is also excited to be moving forward and making progress. Besides that, she is thrilled that she has already had Alyssa Kirk twice as her nurse here at RCP. Alyssa is my best friend's wife and we are practically family so this makes it much easier on her transition.

The Good Lord continues to go before us and pave the way. He has shown his miracle-healing power to us personally. We continue to be amazed at His goodness and give Him all the glory and thanks. Our church family, co-workers, friends, and family all continue to be amazing and love us and support us far more than we could have ever imagined. I am humbled by all of it and I can tell that this process is changing me for the better. You really can experience a peace that passes all understanding. You just have to give it ALL over to Him.

Again, thank you for the love and prayers. Mom is expected to stay at RCP for 2 more weeks and then she should finally be ready to return home in time for Christmas! We are so excited and she can't wait to be back home.

Thanksgiving means so much more this year. I truly have so much to be thankful for. At one point, I honestly didn't think either of my parents would be here for the holidays and now we will actually be all getting together tomorrow at Greenvile Memorial Hospital at RCP for Thanksgiving. Dad will be transported up in a wheelchair van and we will all celebrate together at the hospital. Looking forward to giving thanks tomorrow with my family and that we will all be together, so from my family to yours.....we hope you also have a good Thanksgiving.
