Journal entry by Roger Scearce

Greetings everyone! Hard to believe it’s almost May; not sure where April went. Just a short update on Debbie. Her spirits are still high, and she still works very hard in her physical therapy, getting it almost every day of the month. Her brain is still healing slowly– our conversations are more lucid and meaningful, and she’s much more aware of her surroundings and what’s going on than she used to be. She had a number of visitors this month – our neighbors, my sisters, and several old Army friends- and she enjoyed seeing them all!! 🤗 I try to take her out once or twice a week for ice cream or dinner or lunch, and she really enjoys being out of the facility, especially when there’s a glass of wine involved!! 😀🍷 Anyway, just wanted to let you know that she’s stable and seems to be improving, albeit very slowly. Please keep those prayers and good thoughts coming. I know they really help! Much love, Roger. ❤️🙏🏻
